Please note that all student employees graduating in Spring 2023 will continue to be on student payroll until Saturday, June 3, 2023. All student jobs held by graduates will be terminated on June 4th, 2023.

More than half of all students at Amherst work on campus at some time during the academic year. Our office is here to help you in a variety of ways, though students are responsible for finding their own jobs.

Workday has launched at Amherst and will be the source for electronic time recording and students to view and apply for available jobs. Please refer to the Workday section below for updated information.

Information for International Students

F-1 Visa holders are eligible to work at any position on campus, but are NOT eligible to work at off-campus federal work-study sites. Consult the International Student Office about the possibility of working at one of the other Five Colleges.
