Amherst Alumni in the Field

This video is part of our on-going Alumni in the Field series, where alumni reflect on their career paths and how their Amherst experience shaped their lives

Amherst Alumni in the Field: Alden Booth ’83, P’12 and Lissa Greenough ’83, P’12

When Alden Booth ’83, P’12 and Lissa Greenough ’83, P’12 opened beloved brewpub The People’s Pint in Greenfield more than 20 years ago, area farmers weren’t accustomed to selling directly to restaurants.

Meet our Alumni

The Amherst environment fosters lifelong friendships and sparks a deep and persistent desire to learn. Alumni are present in almost every walk of life. Some alumni are or have been prominent on the world scene and many others contribute to society in equally important though less public ways. A liberal arts education prepares students for careers, volunteer activities and individual interests and pursuits that are personally meaningful.

It’s not about what you have done since Amherst, but who you have become.
